因为疫情,使我们原本亲近的距离变得如此遥远,人与人之间不再如过去般自在交谈,随意接触,口罩、防护镜,带来层层隔离,人人掩面而行 。
本件设计由摄影师夏莉娜借助特殊材质拍摄而成,并由海报设计师陈笑峰作版式与整体设计。
Due to the 2019-nCov, we were always together, but now we are separated. People are no longer as comfortable as they once were. They casually socialized, but now mask and goggles bring layers of isolation. Everyone hides their face as they walk.
This design is made by photographer Xia Lina with the help of special materials. The layout and overall design are made by poster designer Chen Xiaofeng.

中国美术学院的专业训练给予了陈笑峰不可或缺的审美素养与专业底蕴,德国体系的设计教育赋予了他严谨的逻辑与整合的布局理念。除艺术领域,陈笑峰还是一名武当弟子,多年的传统武术沉淀,使他更能从哲学上思考问题,更能在创作中融入东方传统美学思维。
The professional training of China Academy of Art has given Chen Xiaofeng indispensable aesthetic quality and professional details. The design education of the German system endowed him with rigorous logic and insight of an integrated layout concept. Outside of the realm of art, Chen Xiaofeng is also a Wudang disciple. His philosophical way of thinking stemmed from years of practice in traditional art. This higher level of thinking has helped him to integrate traditional oriental aesthetic thinking into his creations.

标题为“病毒”的作品想要表达的是因为2019-nCov的影响引发在世界范围内发现反亚裔的歧视现象。
这次疾病期间让我最感到恐惧的不是病毒本身,而是人性本生的丑陋,以及我们彼此之间的残酷程度。
The work titled “virus” is a reflection of how the 2019-nCov coronavirus is uncovering Anti-Asian racism around the world.
What I feared the most from the epidemic is not the virus itself, but the ugly nature of people, and how cruel we can be to each other.

自从北京开始因病毒流行而行动以来,我决定做一些小诗意和象征性的动作,见证孤立时间的陌生。所以我把用过的口罩留着,洗净了,然后用中文和英文写了一句话。当我花一些时间阅读中国古典诗歌时,我选择了这些老诗的台词来写,以回应当下的冲动。
Since the beginning of the lockdown in Beijing due to the virus epidemic, I decided to do a few small poetical and symbolic acts to witness the strangeness of my time spent in isolation. I kept all my used masks, washed them and disinfected them and then wrote a sentence on each of them in Chinese and English. As I spent some of my time reading classical Chinese poetry, I chose some sentences to write between the lines of some of these old poems, responding to the impulse of the moment.

作品画于疫情中期,参考《戴珍珠耳环的少女》,以人类的角度进行反思,如果破坏生态环境,食用野生动物等行为成为习惯,那么再美好的历史和事物都将成为遗骸和遗憾。
The first painting "The Madness of a Girl with Pearl Earrings"
This work is based on the works drawn in the middle of the epidemic. This painting references the "Girl with Pearl Earrings” reflecting from the perspective of human beings. If people habitually destroy the ecological environment, eat wild animals and so on, even the very beautiful history and things will eventually become dead remains and regrets.

作品依旧画于疫情中期,将人类最重要的器官之一心脏作为主角,结合被残忍伤害的野生动物。希望人类能在释放动物的同时拯救自己,释放自己。
The second painting "Acquittal on Both Wild Animals and Hearts of Human Beings”
This work takes the heart, one of the most important organs of human beings, as the protagonist of the whole painting and combines it with the cruelly injured wild animals. In this way, we hope that human beings can save themselves and release themselves while at the same time they release the animals.

作品以美丽的野生大蛾子作为主角,看待这幅画的两种心理,1,欣赏美丽的蛾子翅膀,2,看见残酷的骷髅也代表着人性的贪婪和残暴。
The third painting "Wild Wing” displays a large beautiful wild moth as the main character of the painting. The painting can reflect on two forms of psychology from different angles: 1. Appreciate the beautiful wings of the moths; 2. See the cruel human skeleton, which represents the greed and cruelty of human nature.

第四幅《同根生》
作品讲述的是人类需要学会运用自己制造的翅膀,虽然我们不是真的天使,但是也不是魔鬼,如果能做到遵循人类该有的生活轨道生存,那么自我反省学会自我保护才是真的获得自由。
The fourth painting "Double Faces in One Soul"
The work depicts what human beings need to learn to use their own wings that they have created. Although we are not real angels, we are not devils either. If human beings can follow the path of human life to continue living then self-examination and self-protection can help us to achieve real freedom.

毕业于美国马里兰艺术学院平面设计专业。从小喜爱艺术,现在是独立插画师,也是西餐主厨,在武汉经营自己的小西餐厅橄榄故事Newsolive。
Xiaoyuan Shan has loved art since she was a child which undoubtedly encouraged her to pursue a degree in graphic design from Maryland Institute College of Art. She is now an independent illustrator while also operating a small western restaurant as a chef in Wuhan called Newsolive.

创作源于这次疫情,表现了对生态环境和大自然被人为原因破坏的思考,是参考《最后的晚餐》构图,人想扮演上帝,却是最大的讽刺了自己的无知及傲慢,这些受苦难的生物,也许某天就会开始反击人类了。
The composition of this work is modeled after Da Vinci’s, "The Last Supper". People want to play god, but their own ignorance and arrogance is the greatest satire ever made. These suffering creatures in the artwork may start to fight against humans one day.

这个系列作品是展开了一年的长期项目,它像是一个科普资料,在我收集了越来越多的信息之后,发现海洋生态的恶化,很多物种正在濒临灭绝,想呼吁更多的人来关心环境保护,这关乎于每一个人及每一种物种。
This is a long-term project that has been going on for a year, and it's like a science project. After I collected more and more information, I found that the Marine ecology is deteriorating and many species are on the verge of extinction. Through this work, I hope to call for more people to care about environmental protection, which is closely related to all humans and every species that roams the Earth.

Meng is a tattoo director at “The One tattoo lab" established in 2017. 腐烂的季节,
阴霾笼罩在潮湿的世界。
想必!
世界是生长起来的,
而且不断向上蔓延。
粒子、分子、原子、微生物,
细菌、病毒、立克次体、线粒体,
不慌不忙三三俩俩,
成群结队漫步云端。
我们的肌肤之下,
晚潮澍湃的心情暗涌翻滚。
谁在这个季节扩散了微生物?
谁又在这个季节肆意叫嚣着话语权?
未经任何的审判,
以火红的舌头,
鼙鼓,
舐着大地,
杀伐,
在远方蔓延。
唯有那白衣的使者,
情愿束起乌黑的秀发,
以叫人心惊的速度,
在蔓延与蔓延之间,
前扑后继。
罢了罢了,
高举你以广场中的圣火,
一堆昂贵的肥料,
没有硝烟的战场。
汗水与忠诚,

另外苟且的玫瑰。

《蔓延》是病毒的蔓延,也是信息的蔓延,人们在甄别信息的过程中像极了毫无抵抗意识的正常细胞,在不知不觉中被病毒所渗透,在被病毒逐渐吞噬之后,机体才有了反应,这五颜六色的针管就是等待研制出的新的疫苗,医护人员做为首当其冲的宿主比任何时候都敢于面对这次挑战,无畏亦无惧!
The current thing spreading is not only the virus, but information as well. People are in the process of screening information just like the normal cells with no consciously resisting what is filtering through. Unconsciously the virus penetrates, and we are gradually engulfed by the virus. Only hence after, does the body begin to respond. The colorful needles are the new vaccines waiting to be developed, and cure us. The health care workers are the first host that boldly face the challenge, and stand fearless during the wake of this epidemic.
